FAQs

What is the dress code?

We're really hoping for a fun, laid-back weekend surrounded by our closest friends and family. Anything from dressy-casual to cocktail or semi-formal attire works for us. We've had a few folks ask us our wedding colors, so here's what we're going for, but don't feel obligated to match!

DO I GET A PLUS ONE?

Due to venue limitations, we had to consider our guest list carefully. Any invited plus-ones or partners will be addressed on your invitation. Once we are closer to the date and have our final guest count, you can check in with us if you are wanting to bring someone, and we can let you know if we're able to accommodate them.

Can i bring my kids/dogs?

While we love your offspring, both human and canine, we're keeping this an adults-only event except for immediate family involved in the wedding :) We hope those with kids take this as a chance to have a fun getaway! Sadly dogs are not allowed on the property (unless they are involved in the wedding).

Is there a room block? what about other options?

It's our hope that all or most of our guests will join us onsite at the Inn on Fall River! The entire property (rooms, cabins, and suites) is being held for reservations for our group through April 30th. After that, they will be opened to the general public. You can book by following this link or calling (800) 255-4118

If you find the Inn to be completely out of your price range, there are many other inns/airbnbs/hotels in the area. The owners of the Inn on Fall River also own Pine Haven Resorts and StoneBrook Resort which are located right next to the Inn!

What is the parking situation like?

There is plenty of onsite parking for everyone at the Inn on Fall River!

What will the weather be like?

We wish we had a crystal ball, but typically in August Estes Park sees a high of 76 degrees, and a low of 48 degrees, so bring layers for hanging out by the bonfire! Chances of rain are relatively low, but always possible. The ceremony will be outside, but there is a covered area in the reception space just in case.

What is the elevation?

Estes Park sits at an elevation of 7,522 feet. If you're coming from a lower elevation, you'll probably feel it! We suggest drinking plenty of water and watching your alcohol intake, as it can affect you more at higher elevations.

what kind of food ya having?

For those who can join us, we'll be hosting a welcome BBQ on Friday evening. On Saturday we've gotcha covered with light pastries and coffee in the morning, a brunch reception following the ceremony, and pizza for dinner. On Sunday we'll have a casual farewell brunch before we head out. You can indicate which meals you'll be attending on the RSVP form here. There will be vegetarian options at all meals.

What is the rsvp deadline?

June 30th. You can RSVP here, and indicate which days/events you will be joining us for :)

What is there to do in estes park?

In a non-traditional move, there will be a few free hours on Saturday for folks to do whatever they please! You can take a nap in your room, enjoy hiking trails that start right from the Inn, visit Rocky Mountain National Park, explore shops in downtown Estes, go fishing on Fall River, play disc golf, soak in the hot tubs, or grab a drink at the iconic Stanley Hotel! We heard that the bowling alley is also a fun time.

If you plan to visit Rocky Mountain National Park at any point over the weekend, know that it is on a timed entry reservation system. Reservations become available on the 1st of the previous month, and they go quickly!
