Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. We both found ourselves on Bumble in the summer of 2021. Nick was immediately drawn to Lex's witty responses, badass career, strawberry blonde hair and gorgeous smile and knew he just had to meet her. Lex has always had a thing for redheads.

In July 2021, we met for the first time over beers at Ratio brewing which led to burgers down the street at Shake Shack. As we parted Nick asked "when can I see you again?", and well, here we are. Some of our very first dates included braving Ikea together, Lex's introduction to Nick's first love, disc golf, and a road trip to Palisade on the western side of the state where Lex decided that Nick was absolutely the man of her dreams and she would need to figure out how to keep him in her life at all costs.

Over the past two and a half years our love has grown into something truly remarkable. Always patient, always kind. So much joy and laughter, and navigating life's highs and lows with true partnership and empathy. In March 2023 Nick moved into Lex's 800 sq ft townhouse and Milo has officially accepted Nick has his adoptive papa. We've been on over 25 trips together - one of our absolute favorite things to do - and continue to find happiness in every moment, whether we're exploring in the mountains or Nick is losing to Lex at Super Smash Bros. in our living room on a Friday night.

We got engaged on November 19th 2023, overlooking Cascade lake at the Clements' family lake house. As we find ourselves ready to step into our next phase of life, we're so grateful to be supported and surrounded by the love of our family and friends.
